Elevate Your Skills: Join the Student Success Assessment Workshop Series!
Are you looking to enhance your assessment knowledge and skills? Don’t miss our upcoming workshop series designed to empower you with practical tools and insights.
This two-year project, titled “Implementing assessment tools for library impact on students’ academic success” (2024-2026) was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (LG-256587-OLS-24).
What You’ll Learn:
– Identify components of an IRB application
– Describe qualitative and quantitative library assessment methods
– Utilize assessment tools
– Map out each stage of the assessment projects
– Formulate and implement effective strategies for sharing survey results
– Develop recommendations to address students’ needs using the sample data provided, which can help you to implement changes in support of support of students’ academic success.

Our workshops will be led by project director, Dr. Jung Mi Scoulas (UIC), with professors Sandy De Groote (UIC) and Kimberly Shotick (Northern Illinois University) guiding each session with their extensive experience and knowledge.

Who Should Attend:
This series is ideal for librarians without formal assessment training facing limited resources, juggling multiple roles, and able to commit to the full workshop schedule.
